Objectives

1. Given a specific character, the student will be able to analyze the character's importance in the novel by citing two events that contribute to the character's importance with accuracy.

2. Given a specific scene from a novel, the student will be able to deduce its meaning by researching its connection to the Great Depression with a small group to accurately assess the historical-fiction present in the novel.

3. Given a specific scene, the student and their small group will be able to depict and explain its meaning and importance in the novel keeping in mind the backdrop of the Great Depression by creating and presenting a Prezi with complete accuracy.
